Renovation & Extension of the 40 Arpents School Complex
santeny
The city of Santeny has commissioned the renovation and extension of the 40 Arpents School Complex, aiming to comply with the Tertiary Decree, targeting the 2040 horizon with a 50% reduction in energy consumption.
The project enhances the thermal performance of the existing buildings through external wall insulation, roof waterproofing upgrades in the kindergarten, roof safety improvements, ground floor insulation, and replacement of exterior joinery.
A new extension will house a dormitory, a teachers’ room, and additional storage, while existing spaces such as the infirmary, RASED offices, and storage areas will be reorganized to improve functionality.
The redevelopment also includes outdoor recreational areas, the creation of covered play spaces, and the installation of a rainwater tank to supply irrigation for the exterior areas.
This intervention combines improved comfort, sustainable performance, and functional expansion to create a modern, adaptable learning environment for students and staff.
